I understand that unanticipated events can occasionally occur in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients — and out of consideration for my own time — I have adopted the following policies:

Cancellations

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Please ensure you contact me via message, WhatsApp, or email to make any changes.

If you fail to provide the required notice, you will be charged 100% of the treatment fee.
No charges will apply when appropriate notice is given.

​

Clients who forget their appointment or choose not to attend without notice will be considered a "no-show" and charged the full amount for the missed appointment. Please note that future appointments may be denied until payment is received.

 

Exceptions will be made in cases of genuine emergencies.

Late Arrivals

Appointment times are reserved specifically for you. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to accommodate clients scheduled after you.

​

Depending on how late you arrive, I will assess whether there is sufficient time to begin treatment. Regardless of the length of the session, you will be charged for the full appointment, though I will do my best to provide the most effective treatment within the remaining time.

 

Mobile treatments (e.g., home visits) are subject to a small travel supplement.

Massage Therapy Treatment

Massage therapy should not be performed under certain medical conditions. You are required to disclose all known medical issues and answer questions truthfully during your initial consultation.

​

It is your responsibility to inform me of any changes in your medical status. I bear no liability for issues arising from undisclosed or inaccurate information.

​

If new information arises during the course of treatment, the treatment plan will be re-evaluated and adjusted as needed.

 

Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care. You must continue attending appointments with your GP or other healthcare providers and never stop any prescribed treatment or medication without consulting them first.

 

Any therapy or treatment provided is meant to complement, not replace, conventional medical care. Always consult your GP or a healthcare professional for medical advice.

Health & Safety

Due to the close-contact nature of massage therapy, I maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and ask that clients do the same.

​

Please do not attend your appointment if you are feeling unwell, have a cold or virus, an infection, or are in generally poor health. Contact me as soon as possible to reschedule — note that the cancellation policy may still apply.

​

If I become unwell, I will inform you as early as possible and work with you to reschedule.

​

Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Written consent and co-signing of the consultation form are required, and the accompanying adult must remain in the room throughout the treatment.

Aftercare – What to Expect

It is normal to experience muscle soreness, mild aching, or occasional localised bruising following deep tissue massage. This is part of the natural recovery process and should subside within a few days.

Confidentiality

I will always be honest and transparent with you regarding the appropriateness of treatment.

​

Client consultations and treatment records are confidential and will not be shared without your prior consent.

​

Treatment Records

By attending a session, you agree to your information being kept securely and confidentially. Information will never be shared with third parties unless you give explicit consent, for example in a referral to another professional.

You also agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information, especially regarding any changes in health or medical treatment, as this may affect the therapy you receive.

​

By booking and attending a treatment, it is understood that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. You acknowledge that any therapy received is voluntary and provided under the terms set out above.

Payment

Accepted payment methods: cash, Twint, or bank transfer.

Please note: Card payments are not accepted at this time.

I provide massage therapy and bodywork in various forms; however, none of these treatments are a substitute for professional medical care or counselling. I do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication, or offer medical treatment. Where appropriate, I will always recommend that you seek advice from a qualified medical professional.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date personal and medical information, including any medications, symptoms, or diagnoses that could impact treatment.

I reserve the right to refuse treatment or terminate a session if I believe it is not in your best interest or poses a risk to either party. You also have the right to pause, modify, or end treatment at any time, regardless of previous consent.
